InsideOut Discussion Questions

Hey

These are a few extra questions from the Round Table Discussion Night at InsideOut. Feel free to comment and/or post a response regarding any of these questions to between.the.trees@hotmail.com .

According to the Bible, does a person need to be "legally" married in order to be seen as married in God's eyes?

Is it wrong in God's eyes to associate with homosexuals, transgenders etc?

Is it alright to kill someone in self defence if they come after you with the intent to kill you or yours?

Does God change his mind?

Why didn't God make slavery a sin along with the 10 commandments?

How does salvation work?

Also, check out some of these links that have resources regarding some of what we talked about Monday night.

Is this a serious question? I truly hope not. If it is, then we should all go find a cave in which we should live out our lives in solitude. If it is wrong to "associate with" them, then it is wrong to associate with me, and everybody else. We are all sinners. We have all fallen short of the glory of God. Thank God that Jesus felt compelled to associate with me.

I am hoping that this question was thrown out there to catalyze discussion, and that it is not actually the musings of follower of Jesus and his gospel of love.

RE: Becky Toews

If I remember correctly, I think it was just a question thrown out there in one groups discussion to start some conversation.
